The Rahu line

Ambition, foreign lands, innovation and strong worldly desire.

Rahu, the Moon's north node, marks places of strong ambition, attraction to the foreign and unconventional opportunity. Rahu magnifies desire and pushes you towards what is new, foreign or outside the usual path. Most Western astrocartography tools do not draw this line.

The four Rahu lines

Watch for

Rahu lines can bring obsession, illusion and restlessness. Desire can outrun satisfaction, so keep your feet on the ground.

In Vedic astrology

Rahu magnifies worldly desire, foreign connections and material ambition. It is central to questions about settling abroad in Vedic astrology, especially during a Rahu major period (Mahadasha).

A line matters most within a few hundred kilometres, and more when its planet's dasha is running. It depends on an accurate birth time. See How to read your map.
