Privacy Policy

Astrocartography (astrocartography.bidua.in) is run by BIDUA Industries in India. In this policy, "we" means BIDUA Industries and "you" means anyone who uses the site.

Account details: your email address, the display name you choose, and either a hashed password or your Google account ID if you sign in with Google. We never store your password in plain text.

Reading inputs: the birth date, birth time and birth place you enter, with the coordinates and time zone we look up for that place. For some readings you also enter a name, a partner's birth details for Kundli matching (Guna Milan), a mobile, vehicle or bank number (Number Check), or a business description and website addresses (business city rankings).

Saved readings: when you generate a reading while signed in, we save its inputs and result to your account so you can reopen it from your dashboard.

Credits and payments: your credit balance, a log of credits added and spent, and the order ID, pack and amount of each purchase. Card, UPI and bank details go straight to the payment provider. We never see them.

We use your inputs to calculate the reading you asked for, to save it to your dashboard, and to keep your credit balance correct. Nothing else.

We cache results so the same inputs return the same answer without being recalculated or charged twice.

The calculations (Kundli, map lines, Kundli matching, Life Map, Number Check) run on our own servers and do not use AI.

When you choose an AI action, such as Astro Chat or an AI city reading, the chart data and question needed for that answer are sent to Anthropic's API, which runs the Claude models that write the reply. For business rankings, the website addresses you enter are fetched and read so the answer can reflect your business. We do not use your data to train any model.

Anthropic, only when you run an AI action. Razorpay or Cashfree, only when you buy credits. Google, if you sign in with Google or use the language switcher, which loads Google Translate. OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service, which receives the place name you type (not your name or birth date) so we can find its coordinates. The map tile provider, which receives normal web requests for map images when you open a map.

We do not sell your personal or birth data. We do not share it with advertisers, and we never put it in page addresses (URLs).

We keep a sign-in token in a cookie and in your browser's storage to keep you logged in, a language cookie when you switch language, and browser storage for small preferences such as light or dark theme. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 treats birth details as personal data. We process them with your consent and only for the purpose above.

You can see every saved reading in your dashboard and delete any of them there. You can also delete your whole account from the dashboard, which removes your profile, saved readings and credit history. For any other request, such as a copy of your data or a correction, email us at the address below.

Accounts are meant for adults. A parent or guardian may create readings for a child using their own account.

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and the date at the top.

For a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, use your dashboard: you can delete any reading or your whole account there at any time.
